For founders

Hire the talent you cannot pay for yet.

Pay in cash, equity, or course credit. One standard agreement covers all three.

Why founders use it

Hire now without mortgaging your cap table.

Pay how you can

Cash, equity, or course credit. Match the reward to the work and to your runway.

Equity that actually vests

A share of the company, split across the deliverables. Whatever is not finished never vests.

Keep what you build

The agreement assigns the work to your company, and flags early if your school could claim the IP.

Contractors, not unpaid interns

Students join as paid contractors, or earn credit through a programme your campus already runs.

Real people only

Every student is verified by .edu email, so you are hiring from your campus.

We take nothing

We charge for optional software and for school licences. Never for a share of your company.

How it works

Four steps, one agreement.

01

Write the project

Scope, deliverables, and what each deliverable pays. You never argue over a percentage in the open.

02

Meet verified students

Read real profiles, see skills and past work, then pick the person.

03

Sign one agreement

Choose cash, equity, or credit. The template handles each one cleanly.

04

Approve the deliverables

Each one is approved on its own. Cash releases, and the share attached to it vests.

Vesting

Unfinished work vests nothing.

A share of the company, split across the deliverables. Not a promise in a group chat.

  • Each deliverable carries its own share, and it vests when that deliverable is approved.
  • Work that is not finished vests nothing. Someone who leaves in week two keeps what they shipped and nothing else.
  • No cash value is put on the share. What it is worth is a question for whenever the company is valued or sold.

Who is on the board

The people you would be hiring.

Every profile is a real student at your university, visible only inside your school.

Every profile

You can see what they have finished.

A profile carries the work, not just the claim. Anything done through the platform is marked, and the founder who approved it is the one who marked it.

Questions

Common questions.

Do you take equity in my company?

No. We charge for optional founder tools and for school licences, never for a share of your company.

Is it legal to pay someone in equity?

It can be, when it is set up properly. You get a standard agreement, and anything unusual is flagged for your campus law clinic.

What happens to our IP?

The agreement assigns the work to your company. If school resources or course credit could affect ownership, we flag it before the work starts.

What does it cost?

Posting work and matching are free. Optional founder tools and school licences are what we charge for.
